Martin Garrix Teases Long Awaited Collab with Ed Sheeran
Martin Garrix has fans buzzing after teasing what appears to be a long-awaited collab with Ed Sheeran.
Martin Garrix has set the rumor mill spinning with his latest Instagram post, hinting at a long awaited collaboration with Ed Sheeran. While the post didn’t offer any confirmation on whether it involves a previous project or a brand new track, the news continues to send fans into a frenzy.
The hint is very vague and fans immediately took to social media to speculate that the announcement is related to the infamous ID ‘Rewind Repeat It’. Garrix debuted the ID at Ultra Miami in 2015 along with a mix of other unreleased tracks. The track was meant for an imminent release but was delayed due to multiple complications with licensing and record labels. The question remains: will Garrix & Sheeran finally release the legendary ID that many consider the greatest of all time?
There’s also a possibility the track could see a rework instead of the original, which would still be incredibly exciting for fans. Even if complications prevent the release of ‘Rewind Repeat It’, the possibility of a new track altogether is still high. The pairing of Garrix’s powerful sound design and Sheeran’s signature vocals is a collaboration fans have been hoping for since they first came together in 2015.

Britney Spears’ ‘I Wanna Go’ Gets a John Summit Remix
John Summit Reworks Britney Spears’ 2011 Hit Into a New House Remix
For months, John Summit has been teasing his remix of Britney Spears’ “I Wanna Go” in live sets across the world, playing snippets during headline shows and festival performances. Each preview drew attention online, as audiences recognized Britney Spears’ vocals paired with John Summit’s distinctive house production. The DJ and producer later confirmed on social media that an official version was on the way, setting off steady anticipation for its release. Now officially out, the remix revisits the 2011 pop hit with a modern house framework while preserving the playful spirit of the original.
The Legacy of a Pop Classic and the Rise of a Modern Headliner
Originally released in 2011 as part of Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale album, “I Wanna Go” remains one of her most recognizable singles of the 2010s. The track captured the playful, carefree edge that shaped her later pop era, supported by sharp electronic production that still feels relevant more than a decade later. Its whistle hook and confident lyrics helped it stand out globally, and it continues to hold a place in playlists celebrating early 2010s pop.

For John Summit, this remix comes at a time when his profile in house music is higher than ever. Over the past few years, the Chicago-born DJ and producer has established himself with tracks such as “Where You Are” featuring Hayla and “Go Back” with Sub Focus. His performances span major cities from Miami to Mykonos, while his label Experts Only has reinforced his reputation as a steady presence in both club and festival scenes. Taking on a song as universally familiar as “I Wanna Go” reflects both his confidence and his position at the point where pop and contemporary house connect.
The Social Media Moment
When John Summit shared his thoughts online about working on “I Wanna Go”, it immediately caught attention. “Britney is an icon and deserves nothing but love. It’s an absolute honor to be releasing a remix of one of her songs,” John Summit wrote in a tweet that fans quickly circulated across platforms. He also hinted that the door was open for Britney Spears herself to join the fun.

The post raised a few interesting questions. What does it mean when one of house music’s biggest names remixes a pop track from a completely different era? How does John Summit, who built his career through club records and festival appearances, connect with a song that belongs to another corner of pop history? His message was more than an announcement; it became a bridge between two generations of dance music.
The connection between John Summit and Britney Spears shows how far electronic music has stretched into the mainstream without losing its roots. This remix links two eras that once felt worlds apart: early-2010s pop and today’s house scene. It also highlights how a well-known song can evolve when placed in the hands of a producer who understands both rhythm and nostalgia.
It leaves one question hanging for listeners , could we ever see Britney Spears join John Summit on stage to perform it live? Whether or not that moment happens, the remix stands as a reminder that good pop never really fades; it just finds new ways to move people.

James Hype To Headline World-First Charity Concert, Where A Night Out Builds A Home
James Hype headlines BillyChip Live at Bristol Beacon this November, a world-first charity concert funding homes for homelessness.
Global DJ and producer James Hype will bring his explosive SYNC show to Bristol this November for a one-night-only, world-first charity concert where every ticket sold directly funds the construction of micro-homes for people experiencing homelessness. Taking place at Bristol Beacon on Saturday, 22 November 2025, BillyChip Live will be one of only two UK performances by James Hype this year.
Tickets are now on sale via the Bristol Beacon website from £27.50: https://bristolbeacon.
With the goal of creating three new micro-homes in Bristol, the initiative is being delivered in partnership with local charity Help Bristol’s Homeless. Each ticket sold will directly fund the construction of these homes.
“What if your rave built a home?” said James Hype. “I’m proud to support BillyChip Live — it’s an honour to headline a night that’s doing more than entertaining.”
BillyChip Live is the first in a new series of concerts from the creators of BillyChip®, the award-winning social enterprise reinventing how people can support those experiencing homelessness. Founded in Bristol, BillyChip allows members of the public to purchase tokens in cafés and shops that can be given to rough sleepers, who can then redeem them for food or drink. The same ethos is now being brought to the stage — inviting fans, artists and venues to “chip in” and help fund permanent homes rather than temporary solutions.
“This is a new blueprint for what live music can achieve,” said Jack Gascoigne, Director of Communications at BillyChip. “With James Hype on board, we’re proving that your night out can help someone get their life back.”
James Hype’s SYNC show, first introduced during his Hï Ibiza residency, is a boundary-pushing audiovisual experience that synchronises every beat, motion and visual for a fully immersive performance. For this special event, Bristol Beacon will be transformed into a 360-degree venue, surrounding Hype with fans on all sides.
“SYNC is a declaration of what’s possible,” said Hype. “I wanted to push the boundaries of DJing by blending technology with artistry — and bringing that to Bristol for such a powerful cause feels incredible.”
The event will take place nearly two years after the reopening of Bristol Beacon, which underwent a world-leading redevelopment led by architects Levitt Bernstein. The venue has since become one of the UK’s most sonically versatile, designed to enhance performances across every genre.
“This night really demonstrates the versatility of our spaces,” said Todd Wills, Programme Director at Bristol Beacon. “As a charity, we are committed to supporting community-focused initiatives, and the opportunity to partner with BillyChip and James Hype on such an original concept is both exciting and meaningful.”
Proceeds from the event will support Help Bristol’s Homeless, a pioneering local charity converting shipping containers into safe, fully equipped micro-homes. Founder Jasper Thompson will be featured in the wider campaign and in follow-up storytelling about the lives transformed through this project.
“This is about hope, opportunity and community all rolled into one,” said Jasper Thompson. “These homes change lives. Thanks to BillyChip Live, we’ll be able to give more people a safe place to begin again.”
BillyChip has also recently entered into a new partnership with The Big Issue, allowing vendors to accept BillyChips as payment for magazines and use them to purchase additional copies — increasing their earning potential without needing to use their own cash.
Further acts and programming details will be announced soon. The event is sponsored by Flutter International, the global gaming and entertainment provider and long-time corporate partner of BillyChip.
“We are proud to provide continued support to BillyChip and this amazing event,” said Sue Hammett, Head of CSR for Flutter International. “We hope this concert will enable this inspiring charity to expand its support to people who find themselves homeless, as well as raise important awareness.”
VIP packages are also available, offering exclusive stage-side access, private bars, Au Vodka tastings, immersive dining experiences, and entry to the official “Back to Mine” afterparty. Every VIP package purchased will directly fund homes for Bristol’s homeless community.
Tickets are available from £27.50 at bristolbeacon.org
