New EDM Friday Sep 18 brings new music from HALŌ, Julian Jordan, HUGEL, Sara Landry, Jazzy, Mesto, and more.

New EDM Friday Sep 18 brings together new singles, remixes, collaborations, and bass-heavy releases covering house, bass music, melodic techno, dance pop, dubstep, and electronic dance. From HALŌ with Live Again to Afrojack and Martin Garrix with the Julian Jordan remix of Turn Up The Speakers, HUGEL with Neton Vega on Mami, Sara Landry and Ali James with Energy, Jazzy with Get This Started, Mesto with INK on Freak, Virtual Riot and Tokyo Machine with STATIC, and Glitch Cat and prodBigMike with once more, these are the tracks you should not miss on this week’s New EDM Friday.

HALŌ – Live Again

HALŌ release Live Again, the first original single from the progressive house project formed by Third Party, DubVision, and Matisse & Sadko. The track follows their live debut at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam in March 2026. Since then, the group has played Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland, Ultra Europe, S2O Korea, Creamfields, and more. Now signed to Armada Music, HALŌ continue with original music and upcoming dates at Ultra Japan, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Drumsheds UK, ADE, and Tomorrowland Thailand. With Live Again, the group opens New EDM Friday Sep 18 with a debut release focused on big melodies and modern progressive house.

Afrojack & Martin Garrix – Turn Up The Speakers (Julian Jordan Remix)

Julian Jordan remixes Afrojack and Martin Garrix’s Turn Up The Speakers, giving the 2014 collaboration a new tech house version. The original remains one of their biggest tracks together, with its official video passing 400 million views on YouTube. Before release, the remix had already been played live by Julian Jordan, Martin Garrix, and Afrojack. It also received support on the Tomorrowland mainstage and during Martin Garrix’s EDC Las Vegas 2026 set. After time as a requested ID, the remix brings a 12-year-old mainstage record back into New EDM Friday Sep 18.

HUGEL ft. Neton Vega – Mami

HUGEL releases Mami with Neton Vega, adding another Latin-led record to New EDM Friday Sep 18. The track connects HUGEL’s dance sound with Neton Vega, the Mexican singer-songwriter from La Paz, Baja California Sur. As a result, it brings together Latin electronic music and regional Mexican influence. It follows a busy 2026 run for HUGEL, including his Make The Girls Dance residency at Hï Ibiza. With Mami, HUGEL continues the international direction around his current sound.

Sara Landry, Ali James – Energy

Sara Landry and Ali James collaborate on Energy, the fifth single from Sara Landry’s upcoming sophomore album Divine Intervention. Released through HEKATE, the track goes straight into the high-pressure side of hard dance. It uses breakneck beats, raw intensity, and the physical sound tied to Sara Landry’s recent work. Sara Landry said the track came from “a really raw place” and called Ali James the right collaborator. With Divine Intervention set for October 16, Energy brings another hard dance release into New EDM Friday Sep 18.

Jazzy – Get This Started

Jazzy releases Get This Started through Chaos Records, following recent singles Invisible with Chris Lorenzo and My People. The track takes her back into a high-tempo dance space ahead of her debut album Peace & Patience, out October 23. Jazzy is listed as Spotify’s most streamed female DJ/vocalist globally and the most streamed female electronic act on SoundCloud. The single also comes before her Peace & Patience headline tour, including her biggest headline show to date at Dublin’s 3Arena. With Get This Started, Jazzy brings a direct dance release into New EDM Friday Sep 18.

Mesto ft. INK – Freak

Mesto collaborates with INK on Freak, a tech house release through John Summit’s Experts Only. The track had already picked up attention before release after appearing in John Summit’s recent sets. It also received support from ZEDD, Alok, and Martin Garrix. Freak pairs a darker sound with a persistent pulse, futuristic synths, and repeated vocal lines. For Mesto, the release adds another track outside the brighter progressive sound many listeners first knew him for. With INK on the vocal, Freak brings a tech house entry into New EDM Friday Sep 18.

SKILAH – GOMF

Rising electronic artist Skilah returns with her latest single, ‘GOMF’, continuing a breakout year that has seen the 23-year-old DJ and producer establish herself as one of the most exciting new voices in dance music. Built around Skilah’s signature combination of dark production, heavy bass and commanding vocals, ‘GOMF’ delivers the kind of high-impact energy that has become a defining part of her sound and live performances. The track arrives as Skilah continues translating her rapidly growing digital following into a steadily expanding presence across clubs, festivals and stages throughout North America.

BETH Turns Up the Energy With New Single ‘Wait’

Scottish producer BETH returns on The Cross Records with new single Wait, following a breakout 2026 of festival slots, Ibiza dates and Radio 1 support.

In the space of a year, BETH has gone from respected up and comer to a genuine festival act. Her debut on The Cross Records, “Keep It Movin’,” is closing in on 1 million streams, and she’s kept up a steady run of releases on labels like TSHA’s Jackfruit, Eats Everything’s Edible, and Melon Bomb Records, along with a well received remix of Karen Harding’s “Island.” That output has earned her support on BBC Radio 1, with plays from Sarah Story and Arielle Free.

Her live schedule has kept pace too. This year she’s played TRNSMT Festival, Sub Club, Cabaret Voltaire, and SWG3 in Scotland, Mas Que Nada in London, and Lakota in Bristol, plus Ibiza dates at Hï, Cova Santa, and Pikes.

“Wait” marks a step forward in her production. Where “Keep It Movin'” leaned into sultry, harmonic melodies, “Wait” goes bigger and brighter, built around euphoric piano chords, a driving 90s inspired break, and deep reese bass. It’s a feel good summer record from an artist whose rise shows no signs of slowing down.

The ever-evolving Deadlynoiz is back with another new single ‘Rock The House’ adding to his stacked 2026 repertoire.

Stepping into the world of bass house for this track, Deadlynoiz has produced a hugely impactful hit brimmed with his hallmark strengths. ‘Rock The House’ is a fantastic showcase of his ability to design and blend together a myriad of creative synths to deliver powerful soundscapes. The track keeps pumping from start to finish but is dynamic in its energy shifting from the more melodic verses to the aggressive, bass face inducing choruses. Deadlynoiz is consistently looking to evolve his productions and has leaned into more experimental territories here with emphatic results.

His development as an artist is evident from both his productions and his accolades as he’s attracted the attention of LVLD Music. He’s dropped a slew of hits with them and is continuing to develop their relationship with the release of ‘Rock The House’ on their label. Since it’s release the track has already raked in thousands of streams and he’s pushed onto releasing even more music in ‘Magic’ and ‘Block.’ Now bringing in over 20,000 streams a month on Spotify it’s clear that Deadlynoiz’s hard work is paying off as his fanbase continues to grow.

‘Rock The House’ is another step forward in Deadlynoiz’s evolution in sound and development as an artist. With every release he’s proving his abilities in the studio and with the rate he’s working at, there’s plenty more to come.

Scarper Drops ‘Off-Cuts (2014-2021)’ Compilation

Scarper releases ‘Off-Cuts (2014-2021)’, a collection of eight unreleased tracks from the era behind his debut album ‘Warmer Squares’ and ‘E-Funk’.

UK artist Scarper has released ‘Off-Cuts (2014-2021)’, a hand-picked collection of eight previously unreleased tracks pulled from the same period that produced his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Warmer Squares’ and his 2020 dancefloor tune ‘E-Funk’, which has been experiencing a resurgence thanks to a recent physical release on a new imprint.

The project is exactly what it sounds like, Scarper going back through his studio archives and finding the demos, jams, and ideas from that era that were good enough to polish up and put out. “I realised I had quite a few demos, jams and ideas on my laptop from that period, some of which were decent enough to polish up and get out into the world,” he said. “It’s a snapshot of where I was musically at the time, so I thought I’d package them together as a retrospective rather than a proper release, giving people something to enjoy while I crack on with the next project.”

The eight tracks cover a lot of ground, from the epic opening chords of ‘Skynet’ to the acid squelches of ‘Steppe’ and the string arrangements of ‘Halocline’. It is the kind of release that rewards the people who have been paying attention, and sits comfortably alongside some of his best work.

Scarper has built his career almost entirely on his own terms, releasing through his own imprint Plexus Records and picking up support from Orbital, Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, Rinse FM, BBC 6 Music, Mixmag, and DJ Mag along the way.

‘Off-Cuts (2014–2021)’ is out now on Plexus Records.
