Martin Garrix’s Historic Return to India: DY Patil Stadium Show Announced for March 14, 2025

Recently, Martin Garrix hinted at his return to India, igniting excitement among his dedicated fanbase. This announcement marks a significant milestone in his enduring relationship with the country, culminating in his first-ever stadium show in India at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on March 14, 2025 as what is claimed to be the world’s ‘Biggest Holi Celebration’.

Garrix‘s journey with India began in 2014 when he headlined the Enchanted Valley Carnival (EVC) at Aamby Valley, Maharashtra. This debut performance introduced Indian audiences to his electrifying energy and chart-topping hits.

Over the years, Garrix‘s shows in India have grown in scale and impact. He has performed at Sunburn Festival several times, each appearance expanding his connection with the Indian audience. His Sunburn journey began with a headlining set at Sunburn Goa in 2015, and he returned in 2016 for a special charity show at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse, powered by Sunburn, which drew thousands and supported educational initiatives. He was back with Sunburn in 2018 and then again in 2019, performing at Sunburn Pune and other key events, each show attracting massive crowds.

His most extensive tour yet took place in March 2023, once again in collaboration with Sunburn, spanning eight cities and reinforcing his status as one of India’s most beloved EDM icons. Sunburn, India’s premier electronic music festival, has played a pivotal role in bringing global artists like Garrix to the forefront of Indian EDM, helping foster a dynamic and enthusiastic music culture.

The upcoming show at DY Patil Stadium represents a new chapter in Martin Garrix‘s relationship with India. Performing in a stadium setting allows for grander production, a larger audience, and an unparalleled atmosphere. Fans are eagerly anticipating this historic event, which promises to be a landmark moment in India’s music scene.

Tickets for the show will be available starting this Sunday via BookMyShow! Given Garrix‘s immense popularity and the significance of this event, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

This show is not just a performance; it’s a celebration of the enduring bond between Martin Garrix and his Indian fans, forged over years of unforgettable music and shared experiences.
