Two years ago, Michael Bibi faced the hardest reality of his life, a diagnosis of CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer that impacts the brain and spine.

His battle lasted six months, and on 5 December 2023, the British DJ took to Instagram to share the news that he was cancer-free.

Since then, Bibi has become a constant supporter of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, an organisation established by the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where the musician completed his treatment.

Visiting the hospital for his two-year scans on 11 November 2025, the DJ also made a generous donation of £113,943.42 towards the charity.

This was not the first time he donated money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, as earlier this year he signed another cheque of almost £125,000.

All proceeds came from his ‘ONE LIFE’ shows in London, which took place in the summer of 2024 and again this year.

‘ONE LIFE’ is Michael Bibi’s own show concept, celebrating his journey and recovery, but most of all, the gift of life.

The concept kicked off in Bibi’s hometown, London and travelled to multiple corners of the world including Seville, Ibiza, Puglia and Buenos Aires, raising money through dance and happiness.

Along with the event series, the DJ also launched the ‘ONE LIFE’ clothing line which has 25% of profits donated to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Two years cancer-free, Michael Bibi stands stronger than ever, pure and free, as his song ‘Sungazing’ enchants.
