Hailing from America and the Dominican Republic, Michael Phase is a name that has been making some major waves in the bass house scene. Having worked alongside the likes of Ashba and Sogma, to releasing on big labels such as Universal Music and Cloud9, to performing at events such as Kingsland Festival and Q-Dance, there’s not much that Michael Phase hasn’t achieved. His musical style seamlessly blends elements of UK house, hip hop, and techno while incorporating bass grooves inspired by dubstep, melodic house, and bass house. Now bringing us new music to open up his catalog for 2023, Michael Phase presents us with a two track EP titled ‘Lost In Mvsic’.
‘Lost In Mvsic’ features two electrifying tracks, kicking off with the title cut. The opening track is an unabashed burner that combines an infectious vocal loop, an irresistible bass riff, and a rave-ready vibe. It’s a high-energy track that leaves no room for hesitation. Following suit, ‘The Rhythm’ takes center stage, presenting a darker and more atmospheric sound. With haunting rave synths, driving basslines, and thunderous drums, Michael Phase maintains his winning production formula while showcasing his versatility.
“I’m so excited to share this EP with the world. I finally get to give people a taste of what’s to come. Ever since I took a break and did some soul searching, I finally found a way to develop my own unique sound in the House music scene. For a long time, I’ve poured my heart and soul into these songs and it’s amazing to finally see them come to life. I can’t wait for everyone to hear them this year.” – said Michael Phase
