Sunday, March 8, Mixmash Records opened in the context of International Women’s Day the doors of their office for women who have the ambition to become part of the music industry.
Mixmash Academy – International Women’s Day special was organized as part of the ongoing initiative by Mixmash Records “Equality in music: One Step In A Million”, which was created to contribute towards a healthier work environment for women in music. The record label welcomed a group of women with various experience levels and interests within the music industry to take part in different workshops.
It was an interactive day with loads of opportunities to ask questions and share experiences both during the workshops, as afterward in a more informal setting. After the workshops, there was an open DJ booth where many DJ’s showed their skills behind the decks!
