MOGUAI Turns Up The Heat With ‘Everybody’s Got to Learn Sometime’!

After numerous successful outings on Oliver Heldens Heldeep label, including last year’s hugely successful ‘Lee’ with Zonderling, and more recently ‘Faith’ with Luciana before ‘Cucumba’ with the label boss himself, MOGUAI continues his fine spell of releases on the label with latest offering ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’MOGUAI once again shows why he’s been at the top of the dance music pyramid for a number of years, with an anthem that stands out and is sure to be a mainstay in his sets and those of the world’s biggest DJ’s across festival season, as he utilizes the infamous vocal from the 80’s classic of the same name.

The track features a heavily reverbed hat and a deep bass which give the track a slightly Techno feel, while the sub provides a tribal rhythm that also suggests House influences. The lyrics come to the fore in the first breakdown and sits above the string in the background, before reaching the well-known vocal chorus just before the drop.

On the inspiration behind the track, MOGUAI commented “I played it back in the vinyl days,  BASSFACE SASCHA did a breakbeat remix of it which was big in the mid-90’s Love Parade time. I always had the idea for the vocal in mind and I sent it to Oliver Heldens and he said straight away he wanted to sign it to Heldeep. I’ve tested it out lots and it has always worked really well, especially in front of big crowds.”

MOGUAI has built a reputation over the years for providing consistently impressive records that straddle the fine line between dance floor and radio airwaves, a skill that has seen him receive support on Heldeep releases alone from artists such as TiëstoDimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Don Diablo. He’s cracked it again with ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’, cementing his place as the go-to party starter and proving once again why his relationship with Heldeep is a match made in heaven.
