Morgan Page Reinvents Just A Gent’s Single ‘Fire’!

Morgan Page swings in big with a massive piano-centric remix of Just A Gent’s new single ‘Fire’, out now to stream and download on Deux Trois.

Page is on a roll with remixes this month, having already unleashed a monster edit of the Tritonal single ‘Someone To Love You’ just two days ago. Now the legendary American turns his significant attention to Australian House don Just A Gent, turning in a remix that completely flips the script on the original.

Bristling with energy, gone is the lazy, hazily seductive quality of the original, in its place an out-and-out club weapon. Thundering rhythms anchored in piano chords, clapping synths, driving percussion and arpeggio runs build up around Caitlyn Scarlet’s vocal to give Page’s edit huge pace and dynamism. Transferred with effortless ease from the playlist to the dance floor and festival arena, Page once again underscores why he remains one of the biggest go-to remixers in dance music.

Working on this remix was a blast and I really wanted to merge vintage progressive house with an updated vibe,” Page commented. “I’m a big fan of Just A Gent, so I’m excited everything came together and I hope everyone enjoys this mix!”
