After making his long-awaited return last month, renowned drum and bass producer MUZZ unveiled his anticipated full-length remix album, ‘The X Saga’ out today on Monstercat. Featuring a range of seasoned vets and rising artists like Justin Hawkes, Franky Nuts, F.O.O.L, and Bossfight, ‘The X Saga’ is a tribute to MUZZ’s profound influence on drum and bass as each rework complements his foundational style. Kicking off the album is the legendary trio Teddy Killerz with their aggressive, dubstep-inspired take on ‘Nemesis’. Community favorite Stonebank follows with his dark, yet upbeat rendition of ‘Starglide’ ft. Cammie Robinson. Swedish prodigy F.O.O.L rounds out the package with his signature hard-hitting basses and pulsating synths on ‘Horsepower’.
MUZZ shares, “This album is deeply special to me. To get a mix of my favourite legendary artists and some exciting new blood take on my discography has been a real privilege. I hope you’ll enjoy the fresh outlooks on the classic MUZZ sound.”
MUZZ has taken his forward-thinking production across the globe, with past performances from Liquicity in London to EDC Las Vegas. His music has earned support from world-class acts such as Delta Heavy, Pendulum, and Knife Party, as well as syncs in major video game titles including ‘Fortnite’, ‘Need for Speed’, and ‘Rocket League’. As festival season approaches, MUZZ will return to the live circuit with upcoming performances at Forbidden Kingdom Festival, Tomorrowland, and more to be announced.
