If there was ever an act destined to take the EDM and festival stage by storm, it’s name unknown. Producing tracks that are a revelation in both their addictive pleasures and intoxicating rhythms, the duo is emerging from the sidelines to become a name that everyone will know. Based out of North Carolina, the DJ Production partnership comprises Joe McDougall and Austin Wallace, who have been collectively filling clubs since 2015. Inspired by the music of Two Friends, Martin Garrix, ILLENIUM, Calvin Harris, and Seven Lions, their performances behind the decks led to appearances alongside acts Styles & Complete, Wes Walker, Cherub, Travis Porter, Shwayze, Kevin Flum, Migos, and Rae Sremmurd. Realizing the potential of their creative side, the pair then meticulously plotted a path to commercial success. Hitting their stride in 2021, they released five tracks that set streaming platforms alight with the sheer melodic beauty of their songs. Collaborating with outstanding vocalists including Jaime Deraz, ENMOCEAN, Nate Mitchell, and so many more, their reputation is assured. With their debut EP ‘Untethered’ on the horizon, name unknown are certainly ones to watch in 2022.
Growing up in the SF Bay Area as a classically trained musician, Jake Yandle began writing and performing music before the age of 12. Going on to graduate from ICON Collective, one of the world’s top music production schools, Jake spent countless hours in the studio working on his sound. Sure enough, 2019 was the year that the ENMOCEAN sound was born. A seamless blend of complex rhythms, captivating melodies, and soulful influences, his sound reflects the diverse area in which he was raised. As a touring act, he spent time in the spotlight within the college party scene, performing countless shows along the West Coast. Incorporating his mastery of keys and a love for the drums, he came up with a captivating live set that has served him well.
