Nem And SGRKANE Link Up For Tech Hit ‘When I’m In It’ On Wastrel Society!

Teaming up for the very first time, San Francisco-based artists Nem and SGRKANE (pronounced sugarcane) link up to deliver a wonderfully groovy tech house single on Wastrel Society. Titled ‘When I’m In It’, this single was created with the dancefloor in mind, as evident by its ever-present rhythmic bass line. With both artists being fans of r&b and hip hop, while Wastrel Society has previously released music under that banner, it’s no surprise that elements of those genres seep into this single with addictive bars being dropped all throughout the single by a male vocalist.

With this being the first single that these two artists are coming together for, it begs the question, why did it take so long for this to happen? The pair of producers utilize their own styles while also being open and diverse to each other, resulting in a fresh sound and production that may not have been possible if attempted solo. A match made in heaven, we hope this is not the last time we see these two artists on the same release.
