Netflix Announces Release Of Avicii Documentary ‘I’m Tim’ And Last Show From Ibiza’s Ushuaïa

Netflix has announced the upcoming release of Avicii – I’m Tim, a documentary that takes an intimate look into the life of the late Tim Bergling, known globally as Avicii. Set for global release on December 31, 2024, the film offers fans a poignant and personal journey through Tim’s life and career, showcasing never-before-seen footage and personal interviews. In a unique approach, Avicii himself narrates much of the documentary, providing a deeply personal insight into his struggles, triumphs, and journey as an artist.

Avicii – I’m Tim traces Bergling’s journey from his early days as a shy boy in Stockholm to his meteoric rise as one of the world’s most beloved DJs. Through exclusive home videos and footage from a private archive, the documentary unveils the inner workings of a young artist who changed the landscape of electronic dance music forever. Directed by Henrik Burman and produced by Björn Tjärnberg, the film also highlights insights from those closest to Avicii, including family, friends, and fellow artists, shedding light on his life outside of the spotlight.

Adding to the experience, Netflix will also feature Avicii – My Last Show, a recording of Avicii’s final performance at Ushuaïa in Ibiza. This memorable set, held in one of the world’s iconic party destinations, gives fans the chance to relive the energy of his last performance on stage, a fitting tribute to a star whose music continues to inspire.

With the documentary and live performance releasing at year-end, Netflix aims to honor Avicii’s legacy by sharing the story of a groundbreaking artist who touched millions of fans worldwide.
