Nicky Romero – Why Do I Call
Returning to Universal/Republic Records after his 2020 debut on UMG with ‘Nights With You’, Nicky Romero delivers in fine fashion with the new single ‘Why Do I Call’. Showcases his versatility as a producer, this single once again proves that Nicky can step out of his comfort zone and deliver both festival hits and radio-friendly singles.
Alan Walker – World of Walker (Album)
With his previous album coming in 2018, the anticipation for ‘World of Walker’ has been massive and Alan Walker doesn’t disappoint with this one. Packed to the brim with new and old-styled Alan Walker music, this album is a true letter to his fans as he caps off a memorable year.
Polar – Boom Ballon (rampampam)
Continuing her debut year in style, Polar releases yet another fantastic piece of work in the form of ‘Boom Ballon (rampampam)’. Once again letting her talent and diversity shine, Polar knocks it out of the park with her newest single. With both equal attention on the vocals and instrumental, the perfect blend has been created by Polar as she lets her vocals shine with the backing sound making its own statement. The addictive and catchy lyrics add tons of memorability to the single while powerful kicks and basslines make up the low end to make this the perfect party anthem.
bonsche – People In The Back
Capping an end to an incredible year of music, bonsche drops his final single of the year ‘People In The Back’. An artist who loves to blend authentic elements with electronic synths, bonsche takes a slight step away from that style to bring us a fully modular driven single. ‘People In The Back’ contains tons of rhythm and character, utilizing drum sounds with a high tempo but the main aspect is the darkly toned synthetic feeling that oozes from the get-go along with edited vocals that add depth.
W&W & Groove Coverage – Moonlight Shadow
Having teamed up in 2018 on ‘God Is A Girl’, W&W and Groove Coverage finally come together to bring us the follow-up in the form of ‘Moonlight Shadow’. Building the single around hands in the air melodies and high tempo, this one is happy hardcore at its finest and shows how well these acts can work together in the studio.
Chris Lorenzo – California Dreamin’ (Vintage Culture Remix)
With the original track already gaining traction as one of the releases of the year, Vintage Culture takes his turn as he amplifies the shifting dynamics of Lorenzo’s reimagined version of The Mamas & The Papas classic 1965 hit, building to exhilarating crescendos and bringing deep, dark effects to the infectious dance floor gem.
