New EDM Friday: Armin van Buuren, Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, KSHMR, Don Diablo, Kygo, And More!

Armin Van Buuren, Avira, Sam Martin – Mask
The complete product of Armin van Buuren and AVIRA’s recent connection, ‘Mask EP’ shows how two artists with different trademark sounds can find common ground and transcend genres altogether. From debut collab ‘Hollow’ to follow-up record ‘Illusion’ and the concluding ‘Mask’, this three-track piece of wonder shows that one plus one can, in fact, equal three.

Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Kim Loaiza, Azteck – Do It
Every year, we ask the question; surely Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike can’t keep up their output for much longer and every year they prove us wrong by dropping some mind-blowing new releases. With 8 releases under their belt this year, including the hit ‘Say My Name’, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are returning to our sound systems once again, this time teaming up with Kim Loaiza and Azteck on the addictive ‘Do It’.

Agus Zack & Orbx – Rollin Up’ [EDMHouseNetwork Exclusive Release]
We are delighted and incredibly excited to welcome onto thethis week two huge rising producers in the scene, Agus Zack and Orbx! Agus has a very impressive back catalog of releases with his best being two releases being on Hardwell’s imprint Revealed Recordings. Orbx himself has also made some serious noise with his releases, with ‘Underwater’ on ZERO COOL being a particular stand out. ‘Rollin’ Up’ is a track that follows suit from a lot of our most recent releases that have been incredibly well-received. It brings us an energetic breakdown with some huge chord shots, and then of course we head towards that super groovy drop that doesn’t disappoint. There is a vocal in this track in which Agus and Obrx have expertly chopped it to create a seriously cool energetic rhythm with it. It’s amazing to have two well-established producers on the label in Agus Zack and Orbx. We hope to impress and bring what the fans of the label want to hear, as always let us know what you think of this track in the comments right across all social media platforms.

Don Diablo & Denzel Chain presents Camp Kubrick – Johnny’s Online
Is there anything Don Diablo can’t do? Not only was his 2018 album packed with several different styles and genres, including trap, drum and bass, deep house and more, he has now teamed up with Denzel Chain to debut a fresh new sound under the name of Camp Kubrick. This synth wave pop single titled ‘Johnny’s Online’ showcases yet another side to Don that we’ve not yet heard before and we’re wondering why it’s taken this long!

Kygo, Donna Summer – Hot Stuff
As if releasing a brand new album filled with tons of incredible releases wasn’t enough, tropical house legend Kygo is back once again putting his touches on a classic. As is the case with his previous releases ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ and ‘Higher Love’, Kygo blends his own style seamlessly to bring the iconic ‘Hot Stuff’ by Donna Summer up to that new era feeling.

Nicky Romero, Sick Individuals, Xira – Only For You
Nicky Romero, who’s hot on the heels of the recent launch of his underground alter ego Monocule and ‘I Need You To Know’ single release with Armin van Buuren, is teaming up with Sick Individuals for the first and the results is excellent. A combination that many fans of progressive house have been clamoring for and the result does not disappoint, leading to a mesmerizing anthem.

LUM!X, KSHMR, Gabry Ponte – Scare Me
Making waves on the dance music circuit, LUM!X is at the top of his game, with new release ‘Scare Me’ set to be another hit. In collaboration with Californian, pioneering producer KSHMR and Italian DJ/Producer and radio personality Gabry Ponte, the 3 artists present an infectious bass-house single that is fiercely fun. Infused with dance-pop sensibilities, ‘Scare Me’ will take you on a roller-coaster ride of a listen.

Their busy 2020 release schedule gets filled with another track that brings their new blend of progressive house with a 2020 twist.
