Calvin Harris, The Weeknd – Over Now
2020 has yet to see an official release for the main alias of Calvin Harris, until now, and he does not disappoint when he comes alongside The Weeknd. A star-studded match made in heaven, Calvin Harris and The Weeknd blend their styles together insanely well and with the finished product being this good, we are left wondering why it has took them so long to come together!
Oliver Heldens, Kiko Bun – Break This Habit
Oliver Heldens is back with the definitive sound of summer in the form of ‘Break This Habit’, featuring London reggae singer, Kiko Bun. And best of all, it’s all in the name of charity. Distorted kick drums are well complemented by off-beat tribal percussive hits, while classic Heldens electro bass wobbles and warps a pleasing melody. Kiko Bun’s soulful, powerful vocal cuts through beautifully as the soaring chorus melodies burst into life, and the bass and lead melody unite into a thick wave of sound. It’s a melancholic cut that screams ‘summer’, coming on like tropical house taken into a darker, more dramatic place Payback Records—a joint venture with Big Beat/Atlantic Records, who will release the record in partnership with Heldeep—are donating all the proceeds from this single to organizations who are helping support those affected by COVID-19, as well as others struggling with addiction.
LGHTR & SRome – Red Light [EDMHouseNetwork Exclusive Release]
We are proud to welcome the return of SRome to EDMHouseNetwork this week along with dark progressive powerhouse LGHTR. LGHTR has recently released a number of records under this genre that have gained huge amounts of recognition right across the scene. SRome was recently on thewith his release ‘Forever’ with Masterbangg that has clocked up over 20k streams on Spotify and was very well received by our fans. This track takes a very different turn and away from the most recent releases we have had on the label. We are really looking forward to how this track will be received by our fans as we bring some insanely catchy dark progressive house.
