David Guetta & MORTEN – Alive Again
Following up on their 2021 smash ‘Impossible’, David Guetta and MORTEN are back on Tiesto‘s Musical Freedom imprint with an impressive new trip into future rave heaven. Reworking the recent Jack Back club gem ‘Alive’ with their by now illustrious future rave style, this tune pushes the new age genre to its nexus, building on the already beloved neon-rave sound with a pumped-up bass and suspenseful cinematic flare.
Oliver Heldens & Anabel Englund – Deja Vu
Oliver Heldens is back with a new cross-over single, featuring luscious vocals from the multidimensional rising star, Anabel Englund, that is primed to dominate the festive season. A match made in heaven, it’s a surprise it’s taken the pair this long to combine their prowess in the form of a collab—but clearly, it’s been well worth the wait. A phat bassline groove with a rugged edge provides the backbone of the track along with typically punchy Heldens beats which are serenaded with Englund’s honeyed tones, which combine as the perfect foil.
Timmy Trumpet ft. loafers & The High – How To Save A Life
Much like he did with ‘Mad World’, Timmy Trumpet turns his attention to the classic single ‘How To Save A Life’ as he turns it from a pop hit into an uptempo rave banger. With its instantly memorable lyrics, Timmy Trumpet aims to bring this one to the club dancefloors and he does just that with his infectious basslines and pulsating synths.
Don Diablo & Freak Fantastique – Stay Awake (Don Diablo VIP Mix)
In true Don Diablo style, the Dutchman sets his eyes on one of his popular album singles and decides to turn the heat up. Taking ‘Stay Awake’ and turning it into an electro-infused club weapon, Don Diablo once again showcases a fresh side to himself as he incorporates bass and electro styles into this one which blend perfectly with his future house tones, making a wonderful end result.
Above & Beyond – Screwdriver
Above & Beyond deliver their first original instrumental track of 2021 with ‘Screwdriver’. Jono, Tony, and Paavo flip the script on their established club sound with this fan-favorite ID from the trio’s sold-out Group Therapy 450 festival in London last September. Blissful and energetic, ‘Screwdriver’ is a tour through trance build-ups, acid, breakbeat, and 90s-flavored piano house.
