New EDM Friday: Martin Garrix, Blasterjaxx, Lucas & Steve, R3HAB, Quintino, Nicky Romero, And More!

Ytram (Martin Garrix), Elderbrook – Fire
‘Fire’ got its premiere almost a month ago when Martin Garrix closed the mainstage of the virtual Tomorrowland Around The World edition and played this brand new track. The exciting ID set tongues wagging right away, with some of his closest fans immediately recognizing the new Ytram sound. ‘Fire’ explores the many different layers both artists have to them, and Elderbrook’s mesmerizing vocals make for a perfect combination with Ytram’s deeper house sounds.

Nicky Romero pres. Monocule: Time To Save (with Tim van Werd ft. Mosimann) EP
Maestro Nicky Romero debuts his alter ego with the new ‘Monocule Volume 1’  EP. Throughout his illustrious career, Nicky has become synonymous with cutting edge progressive music and has since experimented with dance-pop crossover styles and more. Monocule is a brand new moniker that is dedicated to his passion for deeper, underground vibes. The EP’s first track ‘Time to Save’, together with Tim van Werd and Mosimann, has a decidedly darker vibe than the usual Protocol tracks, with growling basslines and emotive vocals. ‘Close To Me’ delivers cinematic melodies overtop a deep bassline and breathy lyrical overlays. At the same time, the final track, ‘Waiting For You’ evokes memories of grooving on dark dance floors before the global pandemic.

Lucas & Steve, Alida – Another Life
Lucas & Steve effortlessly and instinctively capture melodies that are emotive and striking, ‘Another Life’ being no exception. Epic building piano chords married with soft guitar riffs result in an enchanting release that illustrates the heart-wrenching highs and lows of love. Songwriter and Vocalist Alida — known for her single ‘In Your Eyes’ with Robin Schulz — demands attention with vocals that are haunting, powerful, and as light as air. ‘Another Life’ is productionally excellent and presents a collaboration of artists who are putting their stamp on the world of dance music.

Astroblast & Velasko – Santoryu [EDMHouseNetwork Exclusive Release]
We are delighted to welcome back Moroccan producer Astroblast for his second release with us here at EDMHouseNetwork, this time with debutant Velasko. This track ‘Santoryu’ is very different from his first release with us ‘Been A While’, which was a progressive gem. This track is something completely different from that progressive style we have had before and also the progressive style we are used too with a lot of Astroblast’s music. This track takes us down that path of the tech-house style you hear a lot coming out of the EDM scene nowadays. The melody in the drop is one of those melodies that is so simplistic but so incredibly effective and catchy. We feel this track is absolutely perfect for the clubs and we are so pleased to have Astroblast and Velasko choose ouras the home for this one. Make sure you turn up the system for ‘SANTORYU’!

Blasterjaxx & Shiah Maisel – One More Smile
Heavy hitters Blasterjaxx team up with the alternative/EDM singer-songwriter Shiah Maisel from Queens, New York. ‘One More Smile’ is not your typical high paced adrenaline rushed Blasterjaxx track, but brings a more pop-orientated sound to the table. Get ready to be surprised by an emotive sound peppered with striking guitar riffs and soulful vocals.
