New EDM Friday: Nicky Romero, Shouse, Bassjackers & More!

Nicky Romero x Low Blow – See You On The Dancefloor EP
Having made his mark in 2021 and kicking off 2022 with the incredible ‘Afterglow’, Nicky Romero is back on our new music feeds with not one, but two brand new singles alongside Low Blow. Experimenting with a funky house style that we’ve not quite heard before from the Dutchman, Nicky and Low Blow knock it out of the park with two groovy house numbers.

Shouse – Won’t Forget You
Although originally released in 2017, Shouse‘s ‘Love Tonight’ really took over the dance music world by storm in 2020 and 2021, and now the creators behind the massive hit are finally ready to unveil their official follow-up. Titled ‘Won’t Forget You’, this single showcases that infectious and elegant style that we’ve come to love from their first track and contains much of the elements that made the first single such a hit.

George Cooper ft. Sam Strat – Paralyzed
When George Cooper first heard the vocals from Sam Strat, he knew exactly how to craft this elegant deep house gem. He lets the amazing vocals take center stage but doesn’t let them be the only thing happening within the single as he combines them with a simple yet beautiful melody. Tension is then built towards the drop and it comes with no disappointment. The melody then takes center stage with tons of groovy being instilled by the bassline, making for the perfect production.

Wes Smith – Yo Bombs / In My System EP
A huge EP packed to the brim with banger after banger, Wes Smith kicks off his catalog for 2022 with 4 new singles. The EP kicks off with ‘I’m A Freak’, a super-powerful trap anthem. Next up is ‘In My System’, a complete flip of styles compared to the first but it still doesn’t seem out of place. ‘Piano Jam’ then comes and blows us away before the EP is then closed out with an epic dubstep single titled ‘What It Takes’.

Marster – Emptiness Remains
Ready to take his momentum into the new year, MARSTER graces our new music feeds with another piece of brilliance in the form of ‘Emptiness Remains’ featuring Camila Garcia. His first time linking up with Camila Garcia and this pairing does not let us down as they come together perfectly for this elegant single. MARSTER expertly matches the vocals with amazing synths and sounds that combine with each other seamlessly.
