Swedish House Mafia & Sting – Redlight
Having received playtime during Axwell‘s solo set at MDLBeast in 2021 and constant teases on social media, the brand new anthem from Swedish House Mafia and Sting is finally here. Taking a more club-orientated style compared to their previous radio singles, this one has all the makings to be the dance track of the year. With dark electro-infused synths and a bassline that grabs your attention right away, the Swedes have struck gold with this one.
Acraze & Cherish – Do It To It (Tiësto Remix)
Opening the year with his take on ‘Tell It To My Heart’, Tiësto is back on remix duty, this time putting his touches on the 2021 hit ‘Do It To It’ by Acraze and Cherish. A track receiving playtime from all of the top DJs around the world, Tiesto decided he had to put his own touches on it and the results are epic. Typical peak time power is the main aspect of this one with the catchy vocals included making the crowd chant along.
Frabbeatz & Martin Acosta – Souvenir
Frabbeatz made the perfect first impression when he made his debut with ‘Souvenir’. Getting some help from songwriter Mike James on this one, ‘Souvenir’ is a super upbeat and uplifting progressive house track that would not feel out of place at any festival or club around the world. Frabbeatz expertly matches the amazing vocals from Martin Acosta with euphoric melodies and blissful synths, resulting in an amazing end product that we just can’t get enough of. With new music on the horizon, Frabbeatz is certainly one to watch out for as an artist on the rise.
Apriori – Tracy’s Song
With his music, Apriori loves to take you on a journey, mostly within the electronic elements and melodies but he’s never afraid to top it off with the perfect vocals and that can perfectly describe ‘Tracy’s Song’. The Russian producer uses a constant presence of drum sounds and subtle basslines to keep a sense of groove but it’s with the topline synths and melodies that this single shines. As each element is introduced it bring a fresh feeling to the single but they also don’t take anything away from the other sounds used in the mix, resulting in the perfect piece of electronic goodness that we can’t take our ears away from.
Bonsche – Deadlion
Having already opened the new year in style with ‘Follow Me’, Bonsche takes a deeper and darker turn with ‘Deadlion’. The single kicks off with a low-lying synth bassline that is heard all throughout the single. In true Bonsche style, he takes a progressive structure and applies it to this single as when the single progresses more and more elements get included with each bringing a different tone to proceedings. The single then kicks into full hear as punchy kicks get introduced with robotic vocals, resulting in a wonderful piece of electronic music that we’ve not quite heard of before. This single perfectly showcases the diversity that Bonsche has when he is in the studio.
