New Music Friday: Armin Van Buuren, W&W, Blasterjaxx, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & More!

“Jump (Armin van Buuren Remix)” – Van Halen
This is a man driven by an unbridled and relentless passion for music. Armin van Buuren is a born perfectionist, striving to stay on top of the scene he’s helped build. As the flag-bearer of the trance movement, he’s one of the most influential figures in EDM worldwide. Following on from a number of successful releases in 2019, he is treating us to his own remix of ‘Jump’ by Van Halen which he opened up with in his UMF 2019 set.

“Let The Music Take Control” – W&W, Blasterjaxx
After meeting up in 2007, Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst came together to form W&W and haven’t looked back since. The duo have transcended the boundaries of genres and traversed the world with their globally acclaimed music, becoming one of the most sought-after duos the world of electronic music has to offer. In the space of just a few years, Blasterjaxx have ascended the journey from relatively unknown producers to heroes of the current scene in astounding fashion. With a none-more-energetic sound that’s packed to the brim with huge riffs, enormous builds, killer drops and infectious melody, they have time and time again proved themselves to be among the most exciting producers and DJs in the EDM scene. Following on from their previous collaborations ‘Rocket’ and ‘Bowser’, these two duos are getting ready to release their third single together ‘Let The Music Take Control’.

“Untz Untz” – Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Vini Vici, Liquid Soul
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s path from celebrated DJs to dominating the global electronic music scene has been on a constant, upward curve. Becoming the first ever duo to win the World #1 DJ’s crown at the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll, the pioneering brothers continue to stand strong and take center stage among the ever-changing musical landscape. Some may label them as the kinds of psy-trance, but the Vini Vici jam which is their cataclysmic, yet authentic & mesmerizing sound has took them way beyond the psychedelic world spectrum. Delivering a festival anthem together with Liquid Soul, ‘Untz Untz’ is set to be a huge mainstay this festival season.
