New Music Friday: David Guetta, Nicky Romero, R3HAB, Major Lazer & More!

“Stay (Don’t Go Away) ” – David Guetta, Raye
French producer David Guetta rose to prominence atop the sparkling wave of DJs who combined Daft Punk‘s sleek house music with a pinch of electroclash punch at the start of the 21st century. Achieving international crossover success during the late-2000’s EDM boom with chart-toppers ‘One Love’ and ‘Nothing But The Beat’, his house anthems became fixtures on dance across the world. We are being treated to another house number from the talented Frenchman this Friday.

“Midnight Sun” – Nicky Romero & Florian Picasso
Nicky Romero has progressed from being a young, musical wunderkind to become one of the most influential artists of his time. The Protocol Recordings label head and powerhouse veteran Florian Picasso have teamed up for ‘Midnight Sun’, a summertime anthem that will make your soundtrack to the upcoming festival season.

“Don’t Give Up On Me Now” – R3hab, Julie Bergan
R3HAB continues to take electronic music to unprecedented heights, recently being ranked the #12 DJ in the world by DJ Mag. A globetrotting talent hailed by the likes of Forbes and Billboard Magazine as one of the most iconic electronic DJs and producers, he has spent the last 7 years garnering hundreds of millions of streams while charging ahead on the global club circuit. After ‘All Around The World’, ‘This Is How We Party’ and ‘BAD!’, R3HAB is back for this 4th original release of 2019.

“Can’t Take It From Me” – Major Lazer, Skip Marley
Over the last 10 years, the group has expanded from a notoriously raucous side project into the biggest musical act in the world. In 2015 they hit #1 in 22 countries with their era-defining single ‘Lean On’ featuring DJ Snake and , and ‘Cold Water’, their 2016 summer anthem with Justin Bieber, went triple platinum in the U.S. This Friday they come together to follow up on their huge EP ‘Africa Is The Future’.
