New Music Friday: KSHMR, Kygo, Mike Williams, Curbi & More!

“Devil Inside Me” – KSHMR, Kaaze, Karra
KSHMR first found success as part of the pop-rap duo The Cataracs, who produced hits for Far East Movement, Dev, Snoop Dogg, and New Boyz during the early 2010’s. Freeing himself from the expectations of the pop world, he anonymously debuted his EDM alias KSHMR in 2014, publicly confirming his identity the following year. He has released dozens of singles, including collaborations with Tiësto, Hardwell, and R3hab. This Friday, he will release yet another stunning collab, this time with KAAZE and Karra.

“Not Ok” – Kygo, Chelsea Cutler
Norwegian producer Kygo broke into the mainstream in the 2010’s with a tropical house sound that he utilized to perfection. Building a steady following with singles and live performances, he issued his debut album, ‘Cloud Nine’, in 2016, topping charts in Europe and the U.S. and going multi-platinum in his native Norway upon the strength of the single. Following on from his single ‘Carry On’ which was featured in the Detective Pikachu movie, he teams up with Chelsea Cutler for ‘Not Ok’.

As one of the very few artists to break through with a signature sound it has been the distinctive bounce that Mike Williams’ has perfected since. And while this was the start of a whirlwind adventure within the global electronic music scene Mike’s true trademarks have always been a sense of serenity and his ever-present modesty. The original mix has gained over 1 million streams since its release, and Mike Williams is ready to release his upbeat VIP mix this Friday.
