Nicky Romero and W&W Team Up For Progressive House Anthem ‘Ups & Downs’!

Two of the biggest names in dance music come together to make a real and timeless festival anthem in the form of Nicky Romero and W&W‘s new collaboration ‘Ups & Downs’. Leveraging the progressive sound they both founded their careers with, Nicky Romero and W&W deliver big, bouncing bass lines, soaring melodies, and a euphoric drop. Any experienced raver will relate to the simple and yet touching lyrics, touching upon dance music culture as self-expression in its truest form. Nicky Romero has been teasing the much-anticipated collaboration in his live sets lately, including his Nicky Romero & Friends showcase during ADE, when W&W joined Nicky Romero for a surprise b2b performance. ‘Ups & Downs’ follows Nicky Romero‘s collaboration with DallasK & XYLØ, ‘Sometimes’. The Protocol label boss is currently on his “Redefine” world tour which started on March 29 with his Ultra Music Festival performance.

Nicky Romero has quickly progressed from a young musical prodigy to one of the most prolific names in modern dance music. He is not only a talented DJ and producer but also the label mogul of Protocol Recordings and a mentor to the up-and-coming artists whose careers he helps to cultivate. Nicky Romero‘s resume is an impressive and lengthy string of hits includes iconic originals and collaborations with artists including AviciiCalvin HarrisNERVOZEDD and more. Through the constant evolution of his sound and reinvestment in emerging artists, Nicky has proved his ability to evolve with the ever-changing landscape of electronic music. His latest releases have spanned the spectrum of electronic music, including his recent ‘Ring The Alarm’ with David Guetta, vocal house collaboration ‘Distance’ with Olivia Holt, dance-pop gem ‘Be Somebody’ with Steve Aoki and Kiiara, and remixes for Martin Garrix and Jess GlynneW&W have long been forerunners in the scene and were voted #14 in DJ Mag‘s Top 100 DJ‘s poll in 2018. The duo completed a massive headlining tour last year and recently launched their own label, Rave Culture.
