The golden era of EDM produced everlasting anthems such as ‘Levels’ by Avicii, ‘Spaceman’ by Hardwell, ‘Save The World’ by Swedish House Mafia, ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’ by Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder among many more. Releasing a tribute mix of one of these anthems can prove to be extremely difficult as you have to please the millions of fans of the original track. Olive Oil and Deen Anthony take on this tough ask and pass with flying colours as they produce a stunning modern take on Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder‘s euphoric single ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’.
These three artists combine to give this single new life with their euphoric styles that blend incredibly well. The American producers keep most of the vibe from the original but they put their own touch on it giving it a new generation feel. Using an incredibly uplifting piano to set the tone, the artists add energy with a chanting crowd that takes the break down to the next level. For the drop, powerful bass lines are added with the euphoric topline melody taking centre stage. They switch things up for the second break, introducing the vocals and giving them the right platform to shine before heading back to an uplifting second drop.
