It’s that time of year again Amsterdam Dance Event! Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is an annual world-renowned electronic music conference located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. ADE hosts a daytime and nighttime program with talks, mixers, art installations, masterclasses, networking events, wellness sessions, film screenings and of course iconic raves! Unlike traditional conferences, ADE takes over the entire city of Amsterdam and brings together not just DJs and Producers but electronic music professionals and fans from all over the world. With five days and nights, more than 200 venues, and 2,500 artists it was tough to choose which events to attend this year! Here are our top picks for ADE 2023:

Tomorrowland Expo – October 18 – 20
Kicking things off this year we’ve got the very special Tomorrowland Expo located at the Rode Hoed. Taking place from the 18th to the 20th of October, this expo takes you down memory lane, celebrating 20 years of Tomorrowland in the process.
Celebrate 20 years of Tomorrowland in the heart of Amsterdam from October 18 until October 20. With a number of interesting aspects on offer, attendees with be able to take a unique look behind this year’s theme ‘Adscendo’.

Scantraxx Pop Up Shop – October 18
The legendary Hardstyle label Scantraxx will host a pop-up shop once again this year. The pop-up shop will not only have merchandise, but free tattoos, a charitable vinyl auction and a chance for aspiring DJs to drop their demos.

Timmy Trumpet presents ‘Sinphony’ Label Night – October 18
On the first night of ADE, Timmy Trumpet headlines his debut ‘Sinphony’ at AIR Amsterdam. This will be Timmy Trumpet’s one and only performance this year, so this is one not to miss! Produced by E&A Events, we’ll be kicking off ADE with a bang. Supporting talent includes Dr Phunk, Tony Junior, and many more!

The 1001Tracklists Top 101 Producers rankings have become inseparable from Amsterdam Dance Event, and the eagerly anticipated concept is back in 2023 for its biggest year yet. On Thursday, October 19th, artists from this year’s Top 101 Producers rankings, Future Of Dance selections, as well as devoted fans and industry professionals will unite for a night of new music, celebration, and community.

Awakenings ADE 2023: Adam Beyer Presents Drumcode – October 19

Martin Garrix 18+ – October 20
For the first time in 4 years, Martin Garrix brings back his RAI Amsterdam shows at Amsterdam Dance Event 2023. His spectacular solo shows have been eagerly anticipated since the last version in 2019. Martin Garrix is already in full gear since the release of his debut album and this show is expected to be special.

Markus Schulz Open to Close – October 20
Trance legend Markus Schulz is throwing down an Open to Close set at the Melkweg. His sets always take ravers on a journey and even sometimes down the rabbit hole. This is one show we definitely plan on being there from start to finish!

Cinema Concerts: Acidic Male/Avvnt MM – October 20
ADE is not only the place for partying and networking but also the home of some amazing creative events such as the cinema concerts. On Friday evening, two live electronic acts will perform a new live score for short films selected by Go Short International Film Festival.
