Born in Brescia, Paola‘s first significant break came in the early 90’s when offered the coveted opportunity to work the DJ booth at Genux, the biggest club to exist in northern Italy. Performing under various aliases, she was soon made a resident & regularly played in a host of European clubs. Paola went on to co-produce tracks with some of the leading names in the scene, including Cappella and 49ers. With numerous records signed to BXR and Media Records, she has also released singles, ‘The Power of Love’ (with Officina Emotiva), ‘Everybody Change’ (with Gigi D’Agostino) and ‘Free’ (with Bacon Popper) – on her own Snap & Shake and Intercool imprints.
Together with an impressive catalog of original productions, Paola has remixed for the likes of Black Machine, Funkerman and Dr. Kucho! – with theses, cuts picked up by key labels, such as Spinnin’. Always innovating, Paola has gained success under several monikers over the years, delivering styles from pop dance, techno to hardcore – her sound is continually evolving. Fast forward to the present & 2020 marks an exciting new chapter, now focusing her studio output under real name – Paola Peroni.
‘Don’t You Know’ featuring RAiK incorporates a groovy pop-dance signature style that Paola has perfected over the years. Using infectious synths along with natural instruments backing the memorable vocals, Paola delivers a star-studded single that is perfect for any occasion – a party, long car journey or even working out. ‘Don’t You Know’ kicks off the new year for Paola with plenty more singles coming in the future.
