Although he released his first-ever single, ‘Sunset’, in early 2019, German artist Patty Low is no stranger to the world of electronic dance music. In 2010 he started to produce his own singles and DJ in his home country. It was in 2015 that he decided to devote himself to producing dance music, taking the time to learn his craft and hone his skills and style. 4 years later and he was ready to unleash his hard work onto the world, as he released three singles, the previously mentioned ‘Sunset’, ‘Passion Leads’, and ‘Rocketman’. Wanting to keep his hot streak of releases up, he then opened 2020 with ‘Find You’ and ‘Whistleblower’, which brings us to his third single of the new year and sixth in total, ‘Friend’ alongside Lajos Sitas.
Patty Low showcases his funky and infectious production style right from the start with this single as he opens the single with groovy synths that are quickly joined by the magnificent vocals of Lajos Sitas. The German producer then builds towards the drop with rising synths and snare fills, and once it hits we are no disappointed, as groovy sounds take centre stage and are joined by melodic toplines that are sure to give you that summer feeling.
