Coming from the hard house and trance scene in the early 2000’s, Paul Divine loves to add elements of his musical roots in his future productions. Doing so, this brings a whole new life and energy to his each and every one of his solo productions.
“I first heard Sound Of Violence on an old hard trance white label I used to own” says Paul. “I thought I would make a great tech house remix so I decided to remix it adding some new deep elements to give it a new feel.”
Paul Divine does not disappoint with this remix. He kicks it off with gentle drum loops that slowly build toward the first main section. He then introduces a small snippet of the vocals before using an infectious bass line to grab our attention. This leads towards the break down which incorporates elements of the original classic whilst also including modern new school sounds which gives it that fresh feel. Powerful yet subtle bass lines through out make this a remix that all house fans should be adding to their personal collections.
