Point Blank’s Ski Oakenfull Deconstructs Avicii’s “SOS” at IMS College Malta

IMS College – Malta was held successfully September 13-14 of 2019, bringing together college students to experience workshops and seminars by some of the industry’s most notable leaders. Among them was Ski Oakenfull, Head of Curriculum at award-winning music school Point Blank, who offered a 25-minute deconstruction of the late Avicii’s “SOS”, released last year via Universal / Geffen as part of the dance legend’s posthumous third album TIM. 

Point Blank is undoubtedly one of the most prominent music schools worldwide. Founded in London in 1994 by musician and producer Robert Cowan, the college operates in campuses all around the world, such as Los Angeles and London as well as offers multiple online courses. Some of Point Blank’s most notable alumni include successful musicians such as Goldie, Felix Jaehn, Nicole Moudaber, Claude VonStroke, Leona Lewis and Mishlawti.
