Very few artists in the electronic dance music scene know how to flip a track and turn it into their own piece just like POPR3B3L. With a previous remix of chart hit ‘Into The Unknown’ along with high-quality original tracks ‘Flying High’, ‘Dirty And Hard’ among others, POPR3B3L has cemented himself as one of the brightest hardstyle acts of 2020. For his latest outing, POPR3B3L has decided to team up alongside BRVM to put their own spin on the massive Green Day hit ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’.
POPR3B3L was created in 2012 when all-round producer and vocalist Martijn Buiter was asked to work with big names from the hardstyle and hardcore scene for doing vocals and co-production. Nowadays he produces electronic dance music solo and works often with the most talented vocalists for his tracks. BRVM‘s debut as an artist was in 2019, but he has already gained a big following thanks to his appearances on the TV show The Voice, making it all the way to the finals. Being only 18 years old, his future looks very bright and he is very ready to take on the adventure.
The track, which combines pop, rock, and hardstyle, creates a big EDM festival vibe and is prone to be sung-along to. With the famous lyrics taking centre stage for the majority of this single, both artists use this to their advantage, giving listeners a sense of memorability. Injecting his own style into the production, POPR3B3L uses hard-hitting kicks and basslines along euphoric synths and melodies to create the perfect festival anthem.
