Bursting onto the scene with his elegant melodies and euphoric style, Swedish up-and-comer Alesso had a wonderful style of progressive house that very few could match. In a veteran way, Sebastian Ingrosso took the newcomer under his wing during his early years, a move that would catapult the young Swede to heights he couldn’t have believed. With a couple of releases under the Refune imprint, the time had come for the two Swedes to link up in the studio and the results were out of this world. Released on the 31st of August, 2011, this single matched Alesso‘s melodies with Sebastian Ingrosso‘s energy, leading to an epic production that many still regard as the greatest progressive house track released.
Hailing from Stockholm, Alesso won over his country from the very start of his career. Over the years, he has cemented himself as one of the most in-demand DJs on the globe, headlining festivals across the world such as Tomorrowland, EDC, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields and more. On the production front, he has not slowed down since his first hit ‘Calling’, most recently returning to his progressive house sound with ‘Progresso Vol. 1’.
Sebastian Ingrosso has an extensive catalog of original productions as well as remixes for artists ranging from Moby to Justin Timberlake, but he’s perhaps best known for his extensive collaborations with Steve Angello and Axwell. In late 2008, Ingrosso, Axwell, and Angello officially formed dance supergroup Swedish House Mafia, a more pop-centric venture than their previous works before splitting up in 2013. 1 year later, he officially formed Axwell & Ingrosso as a duo, releasing several hits, including Swedish number one ‘Sun Is Shining’.
