When it comes to David Guetta‘s ‘Nothing But The Beat’ album, many singles had gone on to become chart-toppers, such as ‘Titanium’, ‘Turn Me On’, ‘Without You’, and ‘Play Hard’ just to name a few. However, many fans of the album forget that it included a truly mesmerizing collab of epic proportions. Teaming up for the first time in 2011, Swedish rising star Avicii and French megastar David Guetta came together and created a wonderful production. Although it has flown under the radar in recent years, this single still managed to break 50 million streams online.
Just a little over 2 years ago, on April 20th, 2018, the music industry stood still as news broke regarding the passing of Swedish legend Avicii. An icon who broke multiple records and was held as many DJ’s biggest inspirations, Avicii became a household name due to his creativity and talents within the studio. Although he may be gone, the legacy he left behind with his music will never be forgotten.
French electronic music producer David Guetta rose to prominence atop the sparkling wave of DJ’s who combined Daft Punk‘s sleek house music with a pinch of electro-clash punch at the start of the 21st century. Achieving international crossover success during the late-2000’s EDM boom with chart-toppers ‘One Love’ and ‘Nothing But the Beat’, his house anthems became fixtures on the dance charts into the 2010’s, often featuring famous names from the worlds of pop and rap, including frequent collaborators Nicki Minaj, Sam Martin, Sia, Chris Willis, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, and Afrojack.
