Having spent the majority of 2010 hidden deep in Steve Angello‘s CD wallet of battle weapons, ‘Knas’ was finally released on the
28th of July 2010. Picking up spins from Pete Tong and Alex Metric on BBC Radio 1 the hype was through the roof for this single. Simple minimal beats mixed to perfection, a killer synth stab glued neatly with a wobbling bassline of monstrous proportions, ‘Knas’ continues to create havoc on the dance floor 10 years on from its release.
Steve Angello‘s debut album ‘Wild Youth’ topped the dance charts in 41 countries and was accompanied by an art and technology exhibit during New York Fashion Week in NYC. In addition to art and music, Angello also received the 2016 MTV Chiuku Humanitarian Award for his considerable contributions in the social good and non-profit space. 2018 marked a new chapter in Steve’s career and he was as hungry as ever to carve out the next act in his musical legacy. His second album ‘HUMAN’ introduced new music, new art, new apparel, and a new vision for changing the way the world experienced music.
