The passing of Tim Bergling, better known as Avicii on the 20th of April, 2018, sent shockwaves throughout the entire music industry, with many fans still mourning his loss to this day. An incredibly talented musician and loving individual, Avicii changed the game when it comes to mixing electronic dance music with elements from country and pop, leading a whole generation of artists who would follow in his footsteps. Although a post-humous album titled ‘TIM’ would be released after he passed, his final release before passing away was his wonderful EP titled ‘Avīci (01)’.
Released on the 11th of August, 2107, this EP included the iconic single ‘Without You’. Together with talented vocalist and close friend Sandro Cavazza, Avicii served up his usual melodic style with a throwback to his old pre-country music influence.
