Released 6 Years Ago: Martin Garrix – Oops

Released as Martin Garrix’s third single in 2016, the lighthearted track ‘Oops’ is maybe one of the EDM icon’s most underrated tunes. 2016 marked a monumental year for the young Dutch legend, as he debuted his mysterious side project with Maejor, AREA21, and went on to top the DJ Mag Top 100 for the first of three consecutive years.

While Martin Garrix is widely known for collaborating with stellar talents such as Dua Lipa, Khalid, Bonn, Bebe Rexha, and many more, ‘Oops’ is a purely instrumental release. Throughout the 4 minutes of its duration, Martin Garrix creates an uplifting progressive house classic, heavily incorporating 8-bit, video game-inspired sounds and playful vocal chops.
