Released 7 Years Ago: Tiësto & Don Diablo – Chemicals

Some mighty forces were at work here as Tiesto teamed up with Don Diablo for a record that led to dance floor magic. In 2015, both Dutchmen were on fire with previous releases and ‘Chemicals’ certainly doubled that heat as strong piano chords, bouncy basslines, melodic intervals, and solid vocals by Thomas Troelsen all came into play. This single celebrates its 5-year anniversary on the 21st of September.

In 1994, Tijs Verwest donned his pseudonym: Tiësto. Today, the DJ and dance music producer is a GRAMMY Award-winning, platinum-certified, international icon. He is the only artist to ever hold the titles of “The Greatest DJ of All Time” courtesy of Mixmag“#1 DJ” according to Rolling Stone, and “The Godfather of EDM” as proclaimed by Billboard.
