With an unprecedented amount of artists seeking the formula for club-friendly absolution, Revealed Recordings proudly premiered their first secret weapon of 2013 — W&W and Ummet Ozcan‘s ‘The Code’. ‘The Code’ had been one of the tracks with the biggest buzz around for months in late-2012. Returning hot off the heels from their single ‘Trigger’, Dutch duo W&W and their homeland counterpart Ummet Ozcan extended their fusion of progressive trance and big room club fuel. As premiered at ADE 2012 and featured in Hardwell’s essential mix, this landmark collaboration sets aside the genre boundaries with intense force, fusing infectious synth hooks and peak stamina into an anthem capable of maximal floor damage right through to the summer festival season. ‘The Code’ sets the precedent to an all-time high for Revealed’s output throughout 2013.
After meeting up in 2007, Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst came together to form W&W and haven’t looked back since. The Dutch DJ and production duo have transcended the boundaries of genres and traversed the world with their globally acclaimed music and iconic live performances, becoming one of the most sought-after duos the world of electronic music has to offer.
In an age where very few artists break the mold and truly shine through as unique and innovative, Dutch/Turkish star Ummet Ozcan is one of the exceptions to the rule. A success story that’s about to enter new grounds. Growing up in the known epicenter of dance music, The Netherlands, it isn’t difficult for Ozcan to plug into dance music at a young age.
