Released 8 Years Ago: Lana Del Rey – Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix)

Over the past couple of decades, Cedric Gervais has cemented himself as an iconic name within the electronic music world. The French DJ, producer, and actor is best known for his hit collaboration ‘Would I Lie To You’ with David Guetta and Chris Willis, his countless remixes for the likes of DJ Snake, ODESZA, and Alicia Keys, as well as – most notably – his remix of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Summertime Sadness’

The remix, that came out in 2013, is undoubtedly Cedric Gervais’ most successful release to date, having amassed over half a billion collective streams on digital platforms, as well as reaching the #1 spot on Beatport, holding that place for two weeks. Cedric Gervais went on to dominate the industry with this remix, winning “Best Remixed Recording” at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.
