Hype, anticipation, and discussion were the order of the day when the teaser for ‘Tsunami’ appeared online. No artist ID was given so heavy discussion followed regarding who produced this track and where it came from. It was shortly revealed that newcomers DVBBS & Borgeous came together to create ‘Tsunami’. Released on the 19th of August, 2013, and co-produced by KSHMR, ‘Tsunami’ took over the festival scene and became a must-use track in many headlining DJ sets.
Formed in 2012 in Toronto, Canada, production/DJ duo DVBBS have built a strong discography, which has collectively garnered the group platinum sales in nearly a dozen countries and billions online streams to date. Following their 2012 debut EP, ‘Initio’, DVBBS gained international acclaim via their chart-topping single, ‘Tsunami’, in 2013.
