Galantis, comprising Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklöw from Style of Eye, represents the perfect fusion of EDM and pop. Their musical journey began when Karlsson (known for hits like Britney Spears‘ ‘Toxic’) crossed paths with Eklöw (known for hits like Icona Pop‘s ‘I Love It’) at the Robotberget studio in Stockholm. What started as mutual admiration soon evolved into a creative partnership driven by a shared vision of blending the emotional depth of pop with the energetic beats of EDM. Setting up their musical headquarters on the Stockholm archipelago in the Baltic Sea, they embarked on a journey that led to the release of the infectious ‘Smile’ single on the Atlanticin late 2013.
