Premiered by Tiësto during his set at EDC Las Vegas in 2011, Sandro Silva & Quintino‘s ‘Epic’ quickly carved out a unique space for itself. Created by – at the time, two of dance music’s most promising new talents, this moody track did not fall short of its title’s promise. ‘Epic’ features an ethereal classical chord progression followed by a haunting yet simple, tasteful melody. The song offers a unique blend of classic dance progressions and textures mixed with contemporary hands in the air simplicity. As years grew, some people still say that this track gave birth to the big room house era.
Sandro Silva established himself as one of the pioneers in modern electronic dance music. Discovered and embraced at a young age by the likes of Tiesto, David Guetta, and Calvin Harris, he enjoyed considerable successes early in his career. Creating a new wave with his big room sound and filling a gap in dance music, he paved the way for many artists. He has collaborated with some key players in the dance industry. The musical road he’s taken is a fast one, but there are no brakes in sight for his musical career. After years of touring the globe and doing the elite hotspots around the world, he is set to start a new chapter in his still-evolving career. After hours, days, and months locked in the studio, he has a bunch of new music to share with his audience.
