Remembering The Unreleased Track ‘Tarana’ By Jayden Jaxx & Hasit Nanda ft. Mitika!

‘Tarana’ is one of the many legendary IDs premiered on Hardwell On Air that didn’t see the light of the day back in early 2017. Dubbed among EDM fans as one of the “greatest unreleased collaborations ever” since it had the best of both worlds, the very best of Jayden Jaxx and Hasit Nanda. So, what exactly happened to this stellar track?

The track was first played by the renowned American producer KSHMR at Sunburn India in December 2016 and got its first major radio show support on Hardwell On Air in March 2017. Jayden Jaxx was at the time a pretty known name and he had already released 2 tracks on Revealed Recordings: ‘Firewall’ & ‘Voltage’ together with Maddix. It certainly looked like he was the next big thing in the bigroom department of EDM. Hasit Nanda, on the other hand, burst onto the scene with his piano covers he made for a lot of KSHMR‘s tracks. Niles himself supported him a lot and eventually introduced Jayden and the vocalist Mitika to Hasit.

The production starts with Mitika‘s sweet and soothing vocals which continue until the drop. The drop is undoubtedly one of the best of Jayden Jaxx‘s discography. Merging electro house with Indian/Arabian vibes which had its own share of similarities with other Jayden Jaxx tracks at the time, yet still maintaining that exclusivity and freshness. Hasit was responsible for the melodies on the verse and the arrangement of Mitika‘s vocals who did an amazing job providing her voice on the track.

After the initial premiere, days and weeks passed by and there was no news on the track whatsoever. There was a glimmer of hope when KSHMR announced the creation of his very own record label under Spinnin’ Records today known as Dharma. Fans had high hopes of ‘Tarana’ releasing there but by the end of 2017, all of that hope was lost when Jayden announced his last track as Jayden Jaxx and started a new chapter as Crime Zcene, executing every bit of excitement. This magnificent ID has been buried since and will remain as an ID forever.
