REYUS drops multi-genre debut album ‘I’m Listening’ with 20 tracks spanning electronic, house, garage, techno, pop and rock

REYUS releases his debut album ‘I’m Listening’, an ambitious 20-track project spanning electronic, house, garage, techno, pop and rock. Shaped by creative freedom and personal storytelling, the album reflects his refusal to be confined by genre. It moves between high-energy club records and more introspective moments. Across the album, REYUS explores internal thought, anxiety, relationships and human connection. He recorded ‘I’m Listening’ across Hackney, London, Dorking and Ibiza. Those different environments and experiences have all influenced him creatively. His influences range from Four Tet and Jamie xx to Bicep and Fred again..

‘I’m Listening’ Shows The Different Sides Of REYUS

Across its 20 tracks, ‘I’m Listening’ captures the different sides of REYUS’ artistry. The album also features collaborations with close friends and artists from his creative circle. Throughout the project, the music shifts between different moods while exploring internal thought, anxiety, relationships and human connection.

Speaking about the album, REYUS said: “This album represents the kind of artist I wanted to be when I was a kid, not tied down to one genre or subgenre. I listen to a huge range of music and what I want to create changes all the time, so this album represents that. There are tracks for dancing, tracks for listening and different moods throughout. I hope people appreciate the range of creativity and, most importantly, enjoy the music.”

Support From Across Electronic Music

Over the years, REYUS has developed a reputation for his eclectic catalogue and live performances. His music has received support from Tiësto, Four Tet, Gorgon City, Jamie xx, Bicep, Vintage Culture, Diplo, Solomun, Mau P and CamelPhat. Before its release, he previewed the album at Tomorrowland Rooftop Terrace in Ibiza, The Egg and E1. The previews also brought feedback and support from across the electronic music scene.

His 2025 REYUS & Friends headline events also took him across the UK and Ibiza. During the tour, he performed at E1, Studio 338, Ministry of Sound, Café Mambo, 528 Ibiza and B Club Kensington. Alongside his own events, he has shared lineups with Maceo Plex, Groove Armada, Adriatique, Confidence Man, Basement Jaxx, Sparrow & Barbossa and more.

From Dorking To His Debut Album

Based south of London in Dorking, England, REYUS began writing music at the age of 10. The late Tim Bergling was an early inspiration. By 16, he had played his first club show. From there, he spent nine years developing his sound across the underground under multiple aliases. He later launched his own label and company to release music independently.

That independence remains central to REYUS’ identity. As a result, retaining ownership of his music and creative direction gives him freedom to explore different sounds and ideas. With ‘I’m Listening’ now out, the 20-track debut brings together the experiences and influences behind his development as an artist.
