REYUS collaborates with Émilie Rachel on ‘Deeper Water’, the second single from upcoming debut album ‘I’m Listening’

Drawing upon elements of Trance, Garage, House, Hard House and Pop, ‘Deeper Water’ showcases REYUS’ ability to glide between different corners of electronic music while creating a record that remains focused on melody, emotion and storytelling. Featuring the vocals of collaborator Émilie Rachel, the track brings an energetic yet introspective quality to the album, continuing the emotional narrative that runs throughout ‘I’m Listening’.

‘Deeper Water’ Continues The Story Behind ‘I’m Listening’

‘Deeper Water’ fits naturally within the introspective world of REYUS’ forthcoming 20-track album, which explores internal thought, anxiety, relationships and human connection. While the project moves freely between electronic, House, Garage, Techno, Pop and Rock, each record is shaped by the feeling and idea behind it rather than being confined to a particular genre.

The collaboration marks the latest addition to REYUS’ growing catalogue of work with vocalists and artists from across the electronic music scene. Émilie Rachel brings her experience as a singer-songwriter within dance music to the record, having worked with respected producers and DJs including Nicky Romero and Fleur Shore. Her track ‘Ego’ with Zen, released via Selected, has amassed more than 7 million streams, while her releases have received support from BBC Radio 1, including Danny Howard.

REYUS Builds Toward His Debut Album

Based south of London in Dorking, England, REYUS began writing music at the age of 10, inspired by the late Tim Bergling. By the age of 16, he had performed his first club show, beginning a journey that would see him spend nine years developing his sound across the underground under multiple aliases before launching his own label and company to release music independently.

REYUS has developed a reputation for his eclectic catalogue and captivating performances, with his music championed by artists including Tiësto, Four Tet, Gorgon City, Jamie xx, Bicep, Vintage Culture, Diplo, Solomun, Mau P and CamelPhat. His 2025 REYUS & Friends headline events saw him tour the UK and Ibiza, performing at E1, Studio 338, Ministry of Sound, Café Mambo, 528 Ibiza and B Club Kensington. Alongside his own events, he has appeared on line-ups with leading artists such as Maceo Plex, Groove Armada, Adriatique, Confidence Man, Basement Jaxx, Sparrow & Barbossa, and more.

Recorded at studios in Hackney, London, Dorking and Ibiza, ‘I’m Listening’ brings together the different environments and experiences that have influenced REYUS’ creative process. Across its 20 tracks, the album draws influence from artists including Four Tet, Jamie xx, Bicep and Fred again, while maintaining an identity shaped by REYUS’ own eclectic approach to electronic music.

With ‘Deeper Water’, REYUS continues the rollout of his debut album ‘I’m Listening’, delivering a dance record that continues the album’s deeper exploration of emotion, storytelling and human connection.

deadmau5 takes over Red Rocks for Halloween on October 30 and 31 with two special shows and the return of mau5hop

For more than 15 years, deadmau5 has returned to Red Rocks Amphitheatre each fall, with the Colorado venue becoming a regular part of his seasonal live shows. This year, that tradition reaches a new point as he performs at Red Rocks on Halloween itself for the first time, with DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN taking place on October 30 and 31. The two-night event will feature VOWWS, joined by Josh Freese and Danny Lohner, alongside special visuals, selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. The weekend will also include the return of the mau5hop pop-up in Denver, with exclusive merchandise, collectibles and meet-and-greet sessions across both days.

VOWWS Joins deadmau5 For The Halloween Shows

VOWWS will join deadmau5 across the two nights, with Josh Freese and Danny Lohner also part of the performance. The Australian-born, Los Angeles-based duo of Matt James and Rizz have long worked across darker alternative and electronic sounds, with previous collaborations involving Gary Numan, Chino Moreno and Chelsea Wolfe.

Josh Freese, whose credits include A Perfect Circle, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails and The Vandals, also appears on VOWWS’ latest album I’ll Fill Your House With An Army. Danny Lohner, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails and The Black Queen, will join the duo at Red Rocks as part of the expanded live lineup.

What deadmau5 Has Planned For Halloween

The October 30 and 31 shows will feature special Halloween visuals alongside selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. Attendees are also being encouraged to come in costume across both nights.

The shows add a new chapter to deadmau5’s long history at Red Rocks, where his fall appearances have become a regular fixture over more than 15 years. He was back at the venue in 2025 for Day of the Dead, where he debuted new music and parts of a new touring production.

That period has continued into 2026 with ‘Science’ featuring Stevie Appleton, his first vocal single since ‘My Heart Has Teeth’. The track later reached No. 1 on US Dance Radio and also entered Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay and Canada CHR/Top 40.

mau5hop Returns For Halloween Weekend

The Halloween weekend will also include the return of mau5hop in Denver, opening on October 30 and 31 at 95 S Cherokee Street. The pop-up will run from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM each day with specialty merchandise, limited-edition apparel, pins and collectibles not available online or at the shows.

deadmau5 and friends are also due to appear for meet-and-greets and signings from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM on both days.

With the Red Rocks shows and mau5hop both returning across Halloween weekend, this year’s edition adds more around a tradition that has already become closely tied to deadmau5 and the venue. The biggest difference in 2026 is simple: for the first time, one of those shows will actually fall on Halloween night.

With VOWWS, Josh Freese and Danny Lohner joining the shows, new music expected and mau5hop returning to Denver, DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN has plenty planned across the weekend. Limited tickets remain for both nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with more from deadmau5 also expected in the months ahead.

BETH Turns Up the Energy With New Single ‘Wait’

Scottish producer BETH returns on The Cross Records with new single Wait, following a breakout 2026 of festival slots, Ibiza dates and Radio 1 support.

In the space of a year, BETH has gone from respected up and comer to a genuine festival act. Her debut on The Cross Records, “Keep It Movin’,” is closing in on 1 million streams, and she’s kept up a steady run of releases on labels like TSHA’s Jackfruit, Eats Everything’s Edible, and Melon Bomb Records, along with a well received remix of Karen Harding’s “Island.” That output has earned her support on BBC Radio 1, with plays from Sarah Story and Arielle Free.

Her live schedule has kept pace too. This year she’s played TRNSMT Festival, Sub Club, Cabaret Voltaire, and SWG3 in Scotland, Mas Que Nada in London, and Lakota in Bristol, plus Ibiza dates at Hï, Cova Santa, and Pikes.

“Wait” marks a step forward in her production. Where “Keep It Movin'” leaned into sultry, harmonic melodies, “Wait” goes bigger and brighter, built around euphoric piano chords, a driving 90s inspired break, and deep reese bass. It’s a feel good summer record from an artist whose rise shows no signs of slowing down.
