One of the hottest names to come out of the Brazilian bass scene in recent years, RICCI never stops surprising with his unique musical output. The 24-year-old producer and DJ’s skills and unmatched creativity have allowed him to receive support from electronic music superstars such as Martin Garrix and Tchami, as well as collaborate with massive touring artists such as Matroda and Vintage Culture. Since 2019, RICCI has been releasing his music exclusively via boundary-pushing Dutch label Actuation, putting out bass house heaters such as “Bang” and “Molly Cyrus”, and now he is back with yet another tasteful track, enlisting ZALE for “Silence”.
The track marks mysterious ZALE’s debut release; an enigmatic artist project created and launched by Actuation. Till now, not much is known about ZALE, however reportedly more will be revealed about the cryptic project every week on ZALE’s Instagram. The two artists’ collaboration “Silence” is the perfect way to kick off ZALE’s project; it’s a house gem with a forward-thinking structure, starting off with a melodic intro driven by guitars and synths before diving into a minimal yet groovy drop.
