Together with the Dutch dance label Spinnin’ Records and his long-time label partner Warner Music Central Europe, DJ and star producer Robin Schulz has launched his own label: Under the umbrella of “Mentalo Music“, Robin Schulz will act as label owner from the end of May onwards and establish new artists. The starting signal will be the single ‘Oxygen’ with the Swedish singer Winona Oak – out now on Mentalo Music.
Partner of Mentalo Music in the German-speaking countries will be Warner Music Central Europe, while Spinnin’ Records will support the label outside the DACH region. In addition to label activities, Mentalo Music will also set up its own studio, so the label can not only take care of DJs and producers but also offer a home to singers and songwriters. Robin trusts in his team, which has been accompanying him for years, as well as in a mixture of domestic ties and internationality. On Mentalo Music, the DJ will continue to focus on a mixture of dance sounds and modern pop, which has already made the Osnabrück-born artist famous worldwide.
With hits such as ‘Prayer in C’, ‘Sugar’, ‘OK’, ‘Speechless’ or his current single ‘In Your Eyes’ he has already collected more than 6 billion streams worldwide, has received a total of over 260 gold, platinum and diamond awards in 30 countries and is currently the most successful German artist abroad. After many years and experiences behind the mixing desk, Robin Schulz is now taking the next step and dedicates himself to the work as a producer, music promoter and label owner with Mentalo Music.
