Yesterday, news spread regarding a remix album of Avicii‘s posthumous album ‘Tim’. The artists featured on the track list were Tiesto, KSHMR, Martin Garrix, Alesso, Kygo and more along with two unreleased Avicii singles ‘Our Love’ and ‘Forever Yours’. This news was picked up by many credible news websites such as EDM.com and YourEDM which led to excitement from many life-long Avicii fans. The leaked photo of this remix album can be seen below.
However, the original creator of the image has revealed that he faked it. In a statement on Reddit, user/TitoShinE said: “The remix album is NOT REAL! I made this a few weeks ago to fool a friend who always pranks me with similar stuff. I persuaded me to post this on Reddit but I didn’t really want it, because I didn’t want I to go viral. He took my phone and posted it really quick, that’s why the original posts title was just “.” Again, I’m really sorry to everyone that thought it was real”.
