Sander van Doorn Makes Fresh Move With Techno Infused DJ Weapon ‘High On You’

Returning with a sensational follow-up to his early 2024 hit ‘No Limit To Our Love’, widely celebrated DJ/producer Sander van Doorn now delivers the vigorous mainstage anthem ‘High On You’. It’s a tune dominated by raw techno beats, ominous synth stabs and the hypnotizing vocals of fellow Dutch singer Melissa de Kleine – all together creating a seamless transition from Van Doorn’s recent future rave explorations. Sure enough, he’s a man with a mission, aiming to light up this year’s festival stages with a fresh and overwhelming production sound, entering a next milestone as he goes ‘High On You’ – out now on Musical Freedom.

Last year saw Sander van Doorn go through a remarkable transformation. Following a triumphal path that made him one of electronic music’s most versatile artists for over twenty years, the Dutchman demonstrated yet another side of his productional talent, as he unrolled a radiant future rave sound to critical acclaim.

Crowds were lit once again, this time with a fresh series of hit tunes, including FUTURE RAVE release ‘On A Roll’ and the subsequent hits ‘Let It Drop’, ‘L’Annonce Des Couleurs’, and ‘Rapture’, a teamup with Robert Falcon. It proved how Van Doorn keeps exploring new sounds and vibes, building a profile that by now encompasses genres like techno, tech house, progressive, and electro.

Early 2024 saw Van Doorn continue on this journey, releasing the popular tune ‘No Limit To Our Love’, driven by vocals of singer/songwriter Jantine and a melodic approach to his revamped future rave sound.

With ‘High On You’ the Dutchman embarks on a similar, yet darker path, embracing his trademark techno production style alongside a series of heavy future rave drops and the tempting vocals of burgeoning Dutch singer / topline vocalist Melissa de Kleine.

The song immediately emphasizes its crowdpleasing intentions, as Van Doorn opens with soaring synth lines, hovering above an ominous soundscape, while Melissa de Kleine sighs that ‘high on you is like ecstacy.’ Whilst the synths start rolling deeper and darker, a rugged techno beat unfolds, underscored by raw percussion and spacious sound effects.

This is music for the masses; ‘High On You’ aims at darkened dance floors and delirious climaxes at this year’s festival stages, working everyone into a sweat with its overwhelming sound design. Sander van Doorn perfectly captures his widely acclaimed techno sound in a fresh future rave DJ weapon, once again making him the go-to producer for your peaktime festival moments.

Early DJ support has already created quite a buzz round this tune, including guys like Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Timmy Trumpet, Blasterjaxx, Mike Williams and Joel Corry. Now, it’s officially out through Tiësto’s Musical Freedom label, gearing up for a triumphal path across this season’s festivals – be sure to get high on this one.
