South African Afro Tech Titan Shimza Set To Make London Headline Debut!

Following his sold-out KUNYE event back in April 2022, South Africa’s shining star Shimza returns to London for his debut headline show. Teaming up with Parable and AEG, Shimza will take over London’s hottest new events space — HERE at Outemet on Friday the 10th of March, 2023.

Shimza has chartered releases via some of the most authoritative labels, such as Cadenza, Knee Deep In Sound, Embassy One, and stars including Louie Vega and Floyd Lavine have released music on his own label: KUNYE, which was launched in 2020. The imprint provides a bridge between South African talent and the global music scene; connecting them to international artists and audiences as one musical family, while celebrating their rich musical heritage.

Looking back on one of his most prolific years to-date, Shimza continued to take the world by storm in 2022, touring far and wide to share his sound with people all over the planet. The highly-respected producer also landed on Embassy One for the first time, delivering his hypnotic official remix for WhoMadeWho & Rampa’s collaborative ‘UUUU’ album single, ‘Everyday’.
