Spinnin’ Records And Tracklib Announce Partnership With Firebeatz Release!

With the discovery and development of dance music producers at its core, Spinnin’ Records, the Dutch Dance label, and Tracklib, the world’s first and only service for quickly finding and legally clearing samples, today announced a collaboration with the mission to provide budding producers with creative and innovative tools.

To showcase just how dance producers can utilize Tracklib, Spinnin’ Records artists Firebeatz—who have remixed Rihanna, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Justin Timberlake, Pink, Snoop Dogg, James Blunt, Sean Paul, and more—will release their own song created from a Tracklib sample as the first official Tracklib ambassador from the Spinnin’ Records roster. Firebeatz star in two videos showcasing how they’ve worked with Tracklib for the track ’Let’s Get Down’, releasing in a few weeksand dive deeper into their relationship with sampling music. They hand-picked 10 of their favorite Tracklib songs for a demo contest hosted on Spinnin’s Talent Pool platform, where young producers will be asked to show us their skills. The contest will be judged by Tim and Jurre! The winning track will get an official release on Talent Pool.

“Spinnin’ is always on the hunt for innovative programmes that allow up-and-coming artists to flourish and experiment, in Tracklib we forsaw that opportunity. What sets Tracklib apart is the ability for progressing producers to sample and create their own masterpieces from full, original and legally-cleared music by experienced artists and expert musicians—not from sample packs or loops,” said Steven de Graaf, Commercial Director at Spinnin’.

“Electronic music producers have been an integral part of sample culture since the beginning, and we are happy to partner with Spinnin’ and Firebeatz in supporting this global community,” said Pär Almqvist, Tracklib CEO, and co-founder.
“We have always worked a lot with samples in our music and Tracklib is definitely a game changer, it makes sampling music much more accessible for all producers,” said Firebeatz.
